Here is your chance to find=
out!
The Anne
Arundel County Police Department is proud to announce the 16th session =
of
the Citizen Police Academy (CPA). This program was designed to increase=
the
understanding of the daily operations of the Anne Arundel County Police
Department and explain in detail our role in our communities’ well
being. Classes will be lead by officers who are experts in their assign=
ed
field and students will get an “up close and personal” look=
at
what it means to be an Anne Arundel County Police Officer.
ACADEMY SCHEDULE=
Academy classes will be held eve=
ry
Thursday night from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Anne Arundel County Police
Academy in Davidsonville, Maryland. Classes include: History of the
Department, Stress Management, Forensics, Crime Scene Investigations,
Special Operations and even a chance to get behind the wheel for Emerge=
ncy
Vehicle Operations. Demonstrations will be provided throughout the acad=
emy
from members of various specialized units such as the Aviation Unit and=
our
K-9 Unit.
HOW TO APPLY=
Students incur no cost for participating in th=
is
program but they will graduate with a wealth of knowledge. Applicants
must be at least 18 years of age. Applications must be
